We learned this past Sunday that as we await the future (namely, the return of Christ), we’re to do so with proper perspective, perseverance, proclamation, and precaution (or, perception).
We were reminded by Pastor Holladay that the coming persecution of the end times will not be enough to silent God’s people, but will actually give the Church a greater platform than before to preach the gospel.
We were comforted by the promise that God will preserve His children through all of the testings and trials to come, enabling them to persevere to the end. With this hope, we are to be watchful for Christ’s return.
